About LRJ Construction, LLC
Our History
Established in 1988 by founder and CEO Ramon Javier, LRJ Construction, LLC, dba Caribe Contracting, has renovated more than 20,000 apartments in our service area, which includes Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, and upstate New York for property management companies and real estate developers.
Over the time we have been in business, we have managed to create a network with other professionals, tradesmen, suppliers and many more people. We bring a wealth of hands-on experience in design, construction, project management and other areas, and we use technology to bring forth the best results.
We are licensed to do on-site consultation where we send a consultant to do an overall workplace evaluation and point out all the health risks, and then we review all the findings with the owner of the site before leaving.
Other services that we offer include creating project estimates to help our clients determine the kind of budget that they need for a given project. We only do estimates after visiting the site or after getting all the measurements from the client. We also offer construction management services. This falls under the jurisdiction of Luis Javier, our project management manager. We oversee the planning, designing, and execution of the project.
We are fully insured, and when we send our personnel to the client’s site, we make sure they are covered.
Meet the Team
Luis Javier - Assoc. AIA, MArch, MBA
President
Luis Javier is the President. He brings advanced skill and experience in the construction industry. Whether it is a penthouse block or a skyscraper, he can oversee it from the planning and design stage to completion.
Apart from managing complex construction projects, he also works on multiple projects and is the bridge between the company and clients. He maintains the client relationships, and his job also includes mentoring junior staff that join the company with little or no experience. He is also responsible for making the required decisions even under high pressure.
Since he left college, Luis has worked in diverse environments and has acquired a few degrees in the process, including an MBA from St. John's University. He is the man we look to when we want proposals to be drafted for new projects.
John Javier, MBA
Sr. Business Developer
John Javier has an MBA in Finance. John is responsible for helping the different teams come up with ideas and suggestions that help to generate more customer demand, hence bringing more business to Caribe Contracting. He has experience in finding the most appropriate technology to use for different projects, which will remain invisible to the end-user of the product.
Elizabeth Belliard
Senior Project Manager
Elizabeth is responsible for the development of project plans that identify resource and budgetary needs. She provides feedback, advice, project updates and encouragement to team members. She manages deadlines and pushes the team to ensure timeliness. She’s the best when it comes to quality control. Make sures all projects are delivered on time and done right. She’s excellent when concentrating on the details.
